A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Fran and I am passionate about helping dogs and their owners build a strong, positive relationship. With years of experience and being degree qualified (FdSc) I am dedicated to providing the best training and behaviour consulting services. I am an accredited dog trainer with ABTC, PACT and a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor. Also I am an ISCP Advanced Canine Behaviour Practitioner. I believe that every dog is unique and I tailor my training methods to suit their individual needs. I want to help you and your dog achieve your goals and live a happy, healthy life together.

Fun Life Skills Classes – Saturday mornings

Our fun classes are a great way to socialise your dog and teach them new skills in a group setting. All Breeds and any age welcome. Classes include:

Our classes are all positive reinforcement based. It’s a great way to bond with your dog and meet other dogs and their caregivers.

Classes run most Saturday Mornings. are outdoors and  you can just book on when you are free.

ACE Freework & Dog Observation Workshop — Sat 28th March 9.30-1.30pm *****Dog & Handler £75 *****Spectators Only £40

An immersive experience designed to deepen the bond between you and your canine companion. This workshop focuses on ACE Freework, a method that allows dogs to engage with their environment at their own pace, helping you understand their unique preferences and physical needs.

A collaboration between Waggology North East and Yonderton Dog Training will ensure two qualified trainers are with you, guiding you through this learning experience.

To ensure a calm and focused environment, dogs will work one at a time.

  • Education: A welcome presentation to inform of all things ACE Freework, what to look for with regards to pain, tension, choices and avoidance
  • Intervals: Each dog has a 30-minute slot, consisting of 15–20 minutes of active work followed by a 10-minute group discussion.
  • Collaborative Learning: We will discuss what you saw, what the trainers saw, and the next steps for your dog’s development.
  • Gait Analysis: We will be closely watching each dog’s gait and movement throughout the session.
Competitive Rally Classes – Wednesday evenings

Our Rally classes are an ideal way to start your journey into competition or just for fun and are held in Worsall Village Hall.

Rally is a team-based dog sport where a handler and their dog navigate a pre-set course of numbered signs, each directing them to perform a specific exercise.

From the basic exercises required at Level 1 to the more intrinsic exercises for Level 6 our classes ensure a positive and fun experience for you and your dog.

Rally is fun, it’s easy to get involved, and dogs can compete from 6 months old!

All training is positive reinforcement, based on current scientific data. A great way to have fun learning with your dog.

1-2-1 Dog Training – 1 hour

Our 1-2-1 dog training sessions are designed to help you work on your dog’s specific behaviour issues and develop new skills. We will create a personalised training plan that suits your dog’s individual needs and goals.

Our training is all positive reinforcement based and we will work with you to achieve long-lasting results. Sessions can be at a location to suit you.

Additional charge for fuel  will be added.

Dog Behaviour Consultations – Currently unavailable-Fully Booked

If your dog is exhibiting more serious behaviour issues, our behaviour consultations can help. We will work with you to identify the root cause of the problem and create a personalised plan to address it. Our goal is to help you and your dog live a happy, stress-free life together.

Package includes:

  • Assessment of client completed questionnaire
  • In-depth in-person consultation lasting approximately 1 to 2 hours
  • Personalised environmental advice, training guidelines and management with any recommendations
  • A comprehensive report including a behavioural modification plan following the consultation
  • One month of email and WhatsApp support

All consultations can offer follow up sessions, either at your request or my recommendation.

Essentially, rewards serve as positive reinforcement for a desired behaviour, making it more likely that the behaviour will be repeated in the future.

A sense of humour!  Lots of soft small treats, chicken, cheese, pate etc for your dog, plus any of your dogs’ favourite toys. Also, your dogs’ usual walking equipment but don’t worry, we can discuss equipment options when you come to training sessions.

Yes, but if your dog has behavioural issues, please contact me to discuss your best training plan before booking.  All age and breeds are welcome, but dogs must be over 1 year old to attend fun classes.
